WASHINGTON, March 16 -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Modernization of FMVSS No. 102 To Accommodate ADS-Equipped Vehicles.

Summary: NHTSA is proposing to amend Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 102, "Transmission shift position sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect."
