WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Child Restraint Anchorage Systems; Child Restraint Systems.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 4 by Jonathan Morrison, Administrator.

Summary: This NPRM responds to petitions for reconsideration of the January 7, 2025 final rule amending Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 225.
