MURPHY LEGISLATION TO GRANT AUTHORITY TO NPS TO EXTEND LEASES PASSES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Washington, Sept. 14 -- Congressman Greg Murphy issued the following press release:

Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., applauds the passage of H.R. 4931, the National Park System Long-Term Lease Investment Act. This legislation grants the Secretary of the Interior, through the Director of the National Park Service (NPS), the authority to extend a lease if the lease has been entered into not less than 5 years before the date of the extension is to take effect.
