Yesterday, Congressmembers Gwen Moore (WI-04), Delia C. Ramirez (IL-03), and Morgan McGarvey (KY-03) visited Campbell County Detention Center in Kentucky to provide oversight of the facility and conduct a welfare check on three constituents suffering from a lack of medical care. The members heard from Anabell, Ricardo, and Octavio who have experienced inhumane conditions, lack of proper food to manage their well-being, delays in medication, and inadequate medical care.
Anabell is a constituent of Congresswoman Moore who suffered a miscarriage in ICE custody and was denied the necessary and adequate medical care.
