JACKSON, Miss., Oct. 7 -- The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce issued the following news release:
On Monday, October 5, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson joined the Mississippi Egg Marketing Board as they partnered with the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce (MDAC) to show appreciation to local Mississippi veterans by providing and serving a special patriotic breakfast. The breakfast was held at the Mississippi Veterans Home in Jackson. Cal-Maine Foods provided eggs for the special breakfast.
The opportunity gave both the Mississippi Egg Marketing Board and MDAC a way to honor local Mississippi veterans before kicking off the 167th Mississippi State Fair on October 8. This year's Fair i...
