Last week, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 8464, the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2027. As part of this legislation, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) successfully secured more than $4.1 million for critical projects in southern West Virginia. This funding includes $800,000 for the City of Logan's Fire Department addition, $800,000 for Alderson's emergency services vehicles, and $2,537,500 for Wayne County's Rural EMS Community Facility Project.
