Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks today highlighted provisions of the Working Families Tax Cuts, legislation she supported that was signed into law by President Donald J. Trump and is now delivering tax relief for families across Iowa.
The law permanently expands the Child Tax Credit to $2,200 per child, providing direct relief to help families cover the everyday costs of raising children. The legislation also establishes $1,000 investment accounts for children born between 2025 and 2028, allowing parents, grandparents, and guardians to contribute up to $5,000 annually to help build long-term savings for the next generation.
