Congressman Dan Meuser (R-PA) today announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency, an agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has released $600 million in Public Assistance funding to reimburse hospitals and health systems for expenses incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funding follows Congressman Meuser's sustained efforts to secure funds for hospitals that provided critical care during the public health emergency. Most recently, Congressman Meuser joined several colleagues in sending a letter to DHS urging the Department to expedite the release of these long-overdue funds.
