WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) announced that the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded nearly $2.8 million in federal grants to eleven fire departments across Pennsylvania's Ninth Congressional District through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program.
The projects funded through these grants will provide professional training, personal protective equipment, modifications to facilities, firefighting and emergency response apparatus, including fire trucks, and supplies that support firefighting and non-affiliated EMS operations and safety.
