Today, Congressman Rob Menendez pressed the New Jersey State Investment Council on the State's investment of $130,000,000 in pension funds in Palantir Technologies Inc. ("Palantir") shares. Palantir has profited from expansive federal contracts supporting the Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") and Immigration and Customs Enforcement ("ICE") in carrying out immigration enforcement tactics that endanger New Jerseyans and violate core New Jersey values. Menendez is bringing these constituent concerns directly to the State Investment Council and calling on the Council to evaluate all options for divestment from Palantir.
