U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Media, U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.), Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) wrote to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr urging it to rescind last week's order requiring Disney to file early license renewals for its eight ABC broadcast stations.
