McALLEN, Texas - A 29-year-old Penitas resident has been ordered to federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.
Jesus David Gutierrez pleaded guilty Oct. 2, 2025.
U.S. District Judge Drew B. Tipton has now ordered Gutierrez to serve 110 months in federal prison and to pay $6,000 in restitution. At the hearing, the court heard additional evidence that Gutierrez was associated with approximately 56,000 files containing child pornography, was involved in the sale of pornography of adult women from the Rio Grande Valley, and wasbeginning to collect child sex abuse m...
