BLACKSBURG, Va., July 23 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Les Fuller has been named Director of Information Technology for the College of Natural Resources and Environment at Virginia Tech.
A familiar face to generations of faculty, staff, and students, Fuller has served the college's Information Technology department for nearly four decades. He joined Virginia Tech in 1987 as the first computer analyst in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Resources and has played an integral role in shaping the college's technology infrastructure through decades of growth and innovation.
Fuller succeeds Lon Weber, who retired after 38 years of dedicated service to the college.
