BOISE, Idaho, June 24 -- Boise State University issued the following news release:
On Monday, June 22, Idaho Gov. Brad Little announced that state employees will receive two additional days of paid leave around the Independence Day holiday in recognition of America250, the nationwide commemoration of 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The state will observe additional paid leave dates on Thursday, July 2, 2026 and Monday, July 6, 2026, in addition to the state-observed Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 3, 2026.
These additional paid leave days apply to the 2026 Independence Day holiday period only and will be observed by leave-eligible Boise State employees. Most university offices and buildings will b...
