Today, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries held a press availability in Laredo with Rep. Henry Cuellar, where he emphasized that ICE is out-of-control and must be reined in from brutalizing American citizens and targeting law-abiding families.
LEADER JEFFRIES: These are challenging times, but this was a wonderful ceremony, a celebration of the bi-national special relationship between the United States and Mexico, anchored in a commitment to economic prosperity and the cultural connections that have gone on for centuries.
