This week, Rep. Val Hoyle (D-OR) and Rep. Bryan Fitzpatrick (R-PA) led over 50 of their colleagues in sending a letter to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin demanding the agency ensure that Ukrainian nationals legally in the United States, particularly those with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), are able to safely access and attend their immigration court hearings, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) interviews and other required legal appointments.
This push comes as DHS recently announced that over 100,000 of Ukrainians whose TPS benefits were slated to expire on October 19th, will retain their TPS protections and work permits until the Depart...
