Today, two bipartisan bills introduced by Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) to honor the legacies of Dutchess County Sheriff Adrian "Butch" Anderson and Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato advanced through the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, clearing the way for consideration by the full Senate.
H.R. 1008 would designate the United States Postal Service facility located at 298 Route 292 in Holmes as the Sheriff Adrian "Butch" Anderson Post Office Building.
H.R. 1009 would designate the United States Postal Service facility located at 86 Main Street in Haverstraw as the Paul Piperato Post Office Building...
