Washington, D.C. - Today, Reps. John B. Larson (CT-01) and Gregory W. Meeks, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, introduced a resolution compelling the House of Representatives to file a lawsuit against President Donald J. Trump to enforce the War Powers Resolution. After nearly five months, President Trump continues to wage an illegal war against Iran, in direct violation of Article I of the United States Constitution, and against the will of the United States Congress-which passed legislation in both chambers of Congress ordering the President to cease hostilities.
