WASHINGTON - Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), a senior member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, today announced that several of his intelligence oversight priorities were included in the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027, which was approved by the House Intelligence Committee.
Among the provisions Krishnamoorthi helped secure are requirements for new intelligence assessments on China's economy and the global consequences of Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, stronger safeguards to prevent intelligence personnel from using nonpublic information to trade on prediction markets, and new oversight of h...
