WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans (VA-02) voted in favor of the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2027, the third of twelve Appropriations bills needed to fund the federal government for Fiscal Year 2027.
This bill shifts America's foreign assistance programs to better align with domestic priorities while supporting our global allies. These measures strengthen our ability to counter threats from the People's Republic of China and Iran, while supporting efforts to stop cartels from trafficking dangerous drugs, including fentanyl, across our southern border.
