KENNESAW, Ga., Aug. 13 -- Kennesaw State University issued the following news release:

The Summit II, a 462-bed, nearly 97,000-square-foot facility in the heart of the Kennesaw Campus, welcomes its first residents this fall. The addition of Summit II reflects priorities outlined in Kennesaw State's "Taking Flight" strategic plan to support student engagement and enhance the student experience inside and outside the classroom.

"This new residence hall represents more than a building," said Chris Bruno, executive director of KSU Housing and Residence Life. "It reflects our continued commitment to student success, community, and creating spaces where Owls can live, learn, and thrive."
