KEAN SECURES $245K FOR NEW PROVIDENCE POLICE COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADES

Washington, Aug. 11 -- Representative Tom Kean, Jr. issued the following press release:

Yesterday, Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) met with New Providence officials to visit the New ProvidencePolice Department. Congressman Kean secured $245,000 for the New ProvidencePolice Department through Community Project Funding. This funding will be used to replace 47 portable radios, which will use upgraded technology to connect radios to a Wi-Fi network.
