Toledo, OH - Today, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-09) announced that two Northwest Ohio Head Start programs will receive a total of $233,955 in awards to support their efforts in preparing young children and families for school. Toledo Public Schools will receive $70,955, and the Community Action Commission of Erie, Huron, and Richland Counties will receive $163,000. These investments are in addition to a a $5,131,429 award the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Partnership based in Defiance received just last week.
