WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, applauded committee passage of bipartisan legislation he led to block certain Interagency Agreements issued by the Department of Education (ED) that would transfer critical offices and programs to other federal agencies that lack the staff and expertise needed to fulfill these programs' missions.
