Justin Winans, director of Campus Recreation, has been appointed to serve on the NIRSA
Honor Award Committee for the 2026-2027 term, a distinguished national leadership
role in campus recreation.
The National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) is the leading association
dedicated to advancing recreation, sport and well-being in higher education, serving
nearly 4,500 members nationwide. The NIRSA Honor Award is the organization's highest
recognition, honoring a member for outstanding achievements in the profession and
