Congresswoman Julie Johnson (TX-32), Vice Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Committee, sent a letter (https://juliejohnson.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/juliejohnson.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/final-mohammad-nazeer-paktyawal-dhs-letter-1.pdf) to Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons demanding answers and accountability following the death of her constituent, Mohammad Nazeer Paktiawal, in ICE custody this past weekend. The letter comes after Johnson visited ICE's Dallas field office on Monday, where she met with officials to seek more information about the circumstances surrounding his death.
