JOHN NAURIGHT NAMED DEAN OF PENN STATE'S UNIVERSITY COLLEGE

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., May 18 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news release:

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - John Nauright, associate dean for research and innovation and special assistant for health initiatives in the College of Human Sciences and Education at Louisiana State University, has been named dean of the University College at Penn State, effective July 1.

As dean, Nauright will serve as a senior academic leader within the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses, with responsibility for the University College's strategic academic direction; faculty affairs; its portfolio of associate and baccalaureate degree offerings; and initiatives to strengthen enrollment, retention and student success.
