Sept. 3, 2026 | LITTLE ROCK - The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) received a $1 million estate gift pledge from Jeannette "Jan" M. Shorey II, M.D., former associate provost for faculty, and Lindsay McFaddin Thomas to the UAMS College of Medicine to create the Shorey Family College of Medicine Scholarship.
