Jacksonville State University will celebrate Arbor Day on Thursday, April 2, with a ceremony scheduled for 2 p.m. outside the Dining Hall. The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public.
Hosted by Capital Planning & Facilities, the celebration highlights the university's continued commitment to campus beautification, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Jax State is recognized by theArbor Day Foundationas a Tree Campus, a distinction awarded to colleges and universities thatdemonstratea commitment to effective urban forest management and student engagement in conservation efforts.
