LEXINGTON, Va. June 5, 2026 -The Jackson House Museum seeks volunteers to assist in the museum gift shop and to serve as docents assisting visitors with tours and answering questions about the life and times of Thomas Jonathan Jackson in the years he lived in the home. Volunteering at the local historic site provides unique opportunities to interact with visitors from across the country, promote local history, and gain experience working in a museum as well as in retail.
