UGA Presents welcomes pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason back to Hodgson Concert Hall for a solorecital March19 at 7:30 p.m.
Known for her poetic insight, technical commandand adventurous programming, Kanneh-Mason brings a radiant and compelling program that spans beloved masterworks and vibrant contemporary music.
The evening features two of Ludwig van Beethoven's most prominent solo works: the atmospheric Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp Minor, Op. 27 No. 2 ("Moonlight") and the monumental Piano Sonata No. 21 in C Major, Op. 53 ("Waldstein"). Balancing these pillars of the repertoire is the virtuosic intens...
