CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 27 -- The University of Virginia issued the following news release:
Colleagues at the McIntire School of Commerce are remembering Carrie M. Heilman as a popular and dedicated professor whose love of sport was matched by her expertise in marketing. Heilman died Wednesday after a yearlong battle with cancer. As a commerce professor and a faculty representative to Virginia Athletics, she served the University for more than two decades.
