BOSTON - A Dominican national unlawfully residing in Worcester has been indicted by a federal grand jury for illegally reentering the United States after deportation. The defendant was previously removed from the United States in November 2019.

Winderson Emiliano Baez-Vasquez, 27, was charged with unlawful reentry of a deported alien. Baez-Vasquez was ordered held pending trial, following an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester. According to court filings, in August 2019, Baez-Vasquez was encountered by immigration officials shortly after illegally entering the U.S. from Mexico. He was ...
