Representative Ronny Jackson (TX-13) highlighted the opening of Pantex's new High Explosives Science and Engineering (HESE) facility (https://pantex.energy.gov/news/New-Pantex-Facility-Strengthens-National-Security), a major national security infrastructure project that replaces 15 World War II-era buildings with a modern, state-of-the-art center supporting high explosives research and nuclear weapons modernization in the Texas Panhandle.
Since taking office, Rep. Jackson has secured $136.36 million in federal funding for the project through the National Defense Authorization Act and annual appropriations process.
