Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet condemned the SAVE America Act tonight on the Senate floor. This legislation will make it harder for millions of Americans to register to vote and cast their ballots, especially women, rural constituents, and the elderly.
The SAVE America Act rewrites the way elections are run in America. It drastically changes the processes familiar to county clerks and election officials, requires voter rolls be routinely given over to the federal government, and forces voter registration to take place in person - instead of by mail or online.
