WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Sen. Jon Husted issued the following press release:

Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today announced that the Department of Transportation (DOT) will invest more than $10 million in improvements to John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH). This funding will be used to install 12 new passenger boarding bridges and help modernize the airport.

This announcement comes after Husted joined Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) and Reps. Mike Carey (R-Ohio), Troy Balderson (R-Ohio), Dave Taylor (R-Ohio) and Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) in writing to DOT Secretary Sean Duffy encouraging the department to support CMH's application for funding through the Federal Aviation Administration's Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Terminal Program.
