The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced awards totaling $9,444,315 (https://ciosenus.box.com/s/ch9g7lo9r6uildyhubds9n0804i7bq2f) to Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, and the state of North Dakota.

The funding will be distributed through the following programs:

The Community Development Block Grant Program provides annual grants on a formula basis to states, cities, and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, for low- and moderate-income persons.
