When Carrie Chia begins her first year at the University of Virginia this month, she'll complete an unusual family streak: Every cousin in her generation has attended UVA.
"Before I've even unpacked my first box in the dorm, there's already this version of me that's been walking around Grounds for over 20 years, just through my cousins," Chia said. "My family has spent decades building something there, and now it's on me to figure out what I add to it."
