NORTH LAS VEGAS - Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement after Walmart announced it is directing $2.9 billion in tariff refunds toward price cuts for customers:
"Walmart's decision didn't happen by accident. In April, I sent a letter demanding that Walmart ensure their tariff refunds reach the people - the consumer - who actually paid the price of Trump's reckless tariffs.
"These illegal tariffs raised costs on everyday families and forced small businesses across the country to close their doors for good. Working families paid the price at checkout every single day, and now the large corporations are getting their money back...
