The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced the Presidential Fitness School Innovation Challenge, a $10 million prize competition that will reward schools and youth-serving organizations for implementing the Presidential Fitness Test (PFT), motivating young people to improve their fitness, and creating positive experiences that build lifelong healthy habits. The PFT is an initiative of the Office of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidents-sports-council/) to promote physical activity, fitness, and healthy lifestyles among America's youth.
