ATHENS, Ga., July 13 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
Henry N. Young, Kroger Professor and department head of clinical and administrative pharmacy in the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, has been appointed vice provost in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. He will begin his new role Aug. 1.
A nationally recognized scholar and academic leader, Young brings extensive experience in research, teaching and academic leadership to the role. As vice provost, he will work closely with university leaders to support faculty excellence, student success and initiatives that advance UGA's academic mission.
