INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Aug. 20 -- The Indiana House of Representatives' Republican Caucus issued the following news release:

STATEHOUSE (Aug. 20, 2026) -Local lawmakers are encouraging Henry County residents affected by historic flooding in central Indiana to seek assistance by applying forstate emergency resources.

State Rep. Cory Criswell (R-Middletown) said the state is deploying resources for storm victims. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is authorized to provide up to $5,000 in emergency aid grants to eligible Hoosiers in need of assistance.
