Henderson State University has been awarded a $440,000 grant from the Windgate Foundation to expand its nursing program and address critical workforce needs across Arkansas and the region.
This latest investment builds upon a longstanding and impactful partnership between Henderson and the Windgate Foundation. Since 2016, Windgate's support has played a transformational role in advancing academic excellence and expanding student opportunity at Henderson. With this newest grant, the Foundation's total investment in Henderson State now exceeds $2.2 million.
