PULLMAN, Wash., July 13 -- Washington State University issued the following news release:
Whirling helicopter blades will briefly become part of the Pullman campus soundscape later this month as part of ongoing improvements to GesaField.
On July18 and 19th, existing stadium lighting units on the roof as well as light posts surrounding the stadium will be removed and replaced via helicopter.
To ensure a safe working environment, WilsonRoad south of the stadium will be closed for the duration of the project. Several buildings will also be closed to unauthorized staff during the work: Hollingbery FieldHouse, the Cougar Football Complex and the Information Technology Building.
