WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), a member of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, released the following statement in response to the Senate's confirmation of Jay Clayton, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, to be the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
