U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) announced Senate passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, bipartisan legislation to tackle the housing crisis in New Mexico and nationwide by increasing the housing supply and lowering the cost of housing for working families.
The median sale price of homes in New Mexico increased (https://housingnm.org/uploads/documents/2025_Housing_Needs_Assessment_Key_Facts-_final-080525.pdf#page=6) from $216,500 in 2019 to $345,000 in 2024.
