PROVIDENCE - A Guatemalan national pleaded guilty on March 24, 2026 in federal court in Rhode Island to illegally reentering the United States after having been removed, announced United States Attorney Charles C. Calenda.
Victor Lemus Davida, 44, admitted that he returned to the United States after having been previously removed. Lemus Davida is scheduled to be sentenced on April 23, 2026. The sentence imposed will be determined by a federal district judge after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
