Washington, Sept. 14 -- Congressman Morgan Griffith issued the following press release:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded the Wise County Public Service Authority, based in Wise, Virginia, a $576,000 grant. The funding supports local water systems and waste disposal renovations, including water line replacement as well as gate valve and fire hydrant installation. In addition to the grant, USDA Rural Development will provide a $236,000 loan to the Authority. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
