FAIRFAX, Va., June 10 -- George Mason University issued the following news release:

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger on Friday, June 5,announced one new appointment and three reappointments to theGeorge Mason University Board of Visitors (BOV).

The new appointee is James W. Dyke Jr., who served as the state's Secretary of Education from 1990 to 1993 and as a domestic policy advisor to former Vice President Walter Mondale. Dyke, of Reston, is a senior advisor at McGuireWoods Consulting LLC.

Spanberger's reappointees to the BOV are Delbert H. Parks, George D. Schindler and Jennifer M. Taylor, MBA '98.

Parks, of Manassas, is vice president and site executive of Micron Technology Virginia. He is a former member of theGeorge Mason University...
