Today, Governor Kim Reynoldssignedinto law HF 2514, a bill for an act makingchildren ofchild careworkers in Iowa eligible for the state Child Care Assistance Program.
"This legislationmakes a difference for all working families in Iowa," Governor Reynoldssaid. "Itofferschild careworkerswith young childrena reliable, affordableoptionto stayon thejobandhelps child carecenters recruit and retainearly childhood educators and staff. And,as more centers are able togrow their workforce, child careaccess willcontinue toexpandandserve more working families across the state."
